Members of Lunasa, sharing their trademark sound combined with a mix of Contemporary and Traditional Irish Music.
Kevin Crawford, Colin Farrell & Patrick Doocey, three members of Lunasa – one of the most influential bands in the history of Irish Music, are heading to Australia in June to perform at National Celtic Festival in Portarlington, as well as a string of shows along the east coast.
Folk Roots magazine once called Lunasa the Irish music dream team, and Australia is now going to be treated to three of its members exploring the acts music in a slightly more intimate approach – the classic pairing of flute and fiddle enhanced by one of Ireland's finest guitar players today.
Lunasa was born back in 1997 making their world-wide debut under the Lunasa flag with a tour of Australia, the rest is history. Twenty years on this trio is making its debut in Australia, which also could be the start of another success story!
