A Man Called Stu

A Man Called Stu aka Stu Hibberd was born way too late, he draws inspiration from film noir and spaghetti western flicks, honky-tonk and exotica records, a dash of punk rock, Lee Hazlewood and a love of vintage music gear.

The Nashville Scene described Stu’s "swampy-tonk" sound as “sort of like a dream collaboration between Nick Cave and Bob Wills”. After almost a decade living in Nashville, A Man Called Stu is back to play in Oz.
